We got a tip from the nurse at our Ped's office to use timers, so for a while a potty timer was constantly going off at our house, and that worked for a while. We had a nice stretch of a couple of months where things were going well, and then we started seeing pee accidents. It was a lot of work but he felt "almost potty trained" by his 2nd birthday. He picked up on it pretty quickly at 20 months, never had any issues pooping on the potty, required a lot of prompting and didn't start self initiating for 4-5 months, but still, I was thrilled. We started Oh Crap in July of last year, when my son was 19/20 mos. I'm writing because I'm truly at the end of my rope and just wondering if there are any others out there who might have had a similar experience and can share the path they took forward.
